Way back in college, I used to make everyone watch eithe the original Dawn of the Dead or The Warriors.

Of course it won't have the same effect on you since you're not a kid now.

Halloween Horror Movie Concentration continues with 4 more Anthology films by Amicus -

1) Dr. Terror's House Of Horror (8/10)
Amicus' 1st anthology, the late great Peter Cushing stars as Dr. Shrek, a tarot reading mystic packed in a British train car w/ 4 doomed & random passengers. Here we have a solid Werewolf entry, a killer plant story, a great Voodoo story with just a fantastic Jazz-set backdrop with the fantastic Tubby Hayes Quartet, a Vampire tale with a very young Donald Sutherland & a crawling, vengeful, amputated hand story starring Christopher Lee.

2) Tales From The Crypt (7/10) - A couple of duds but we have the 1st telling of the pshchopathic Father Christmas tale starring the gorgeous Joan Collins & a vengeful Zombie tale starring Cushing. The other entries are solid but not as good as those 2.

3) Vault of Horror (6/10) - The Terry Thomas' clean-freak story is great & seeing his poor, new-wife finally snap is worth it. There's also a Vampire tale that is classic. The other entries ..."meh".

4) The House That Dripped Blood (7/10) Both Lee & Cushing star is solid entries but it's the final Ingrid Pitt' Vampire tale that really stands out.
