Thanks for the compliment, bro. I also loved this photo from the Justice League. When I did, I spent a few minutes on the floor, enjoying and marveling at how they look so good together.

This Superman is almost a must-have for comic book lovers. I'm surprised it hasn't run out. Perhaps people are not confident in the durability of the large amount of fabric involved in the piece.

But, the fabric of the jacket is quite thick and resistant. If the piece is well preserved in an environment without sunlight, it will last a lifetime.

I congratulate you on the great statue

There is a video on YouTube in which the sideshow shows how the portrait is painted. That is really cool

Yes, I saw this video too. And there's another video showing how the jacket was made. Very nice and interesting.

Very nice pics man! Great collection too. I'd love to get this but my space is starting to get limited.

Thanks, bro. And yes, the space problem is an enemy that will sooner or later knock on our door someday.

FWIW, I agree.

I LOVE so much about this one, but can't look past how inane that musculature looks (with a suit that's seemingly vacuum sealed on him to boot).

It also seems incongruent with the older, more classic vibe they are going for with the glasses and hat.

The price point was so good, I was trying to look past my dislike of that element and get it anyway- then maybe at some point in the future modify that torso to look more natural (and like he's wearing an actual costume). but it would just be way too much trouble.

So close, yet so far (for me).

I feel like asking for more realistic anatomy with this is like asking for Romita eyes on Spidey- the prime demographic didn't grow up with that kind of stuff, so might as well forget it.

I don't have any problem with Superman's musculature. In fact, I think it's amazing. I already have the classic Superman PF, where his body is covered in a literally cloth uniform. Call to Action presented a proposal for a Super with a more defined body.

Truly admire this piece! I believe it's one of the best sculpts of Supes.

However, I don't need Supes in mid-change. I don't care for mixed-media either ...so had to pass.

Now ...a statue with Clark in full civilian clothes next to Lois Lane in her sexy suit outfit ...I'd buy that even if they were in mixed media (still would prefer fully sculpted tho)
