I think he meant that the X-force Archangel is already in production and that he can't do anything to change it anymore, that's why he said sorry.

Yes people jumped the gun the X-force version is in production therefore no changes can be made thats why sorry was used.

Lets hope in the next week with comic con comming up that there will be some definitive answers on the status of both the x-force and DRS lines.

I just wish the bases were consistent. Some are really dark and clean like x-23. Then some are light and rounded like deadpool. I don't mind alot but still, it would just be nice if they matched up better.

This isn't limited to the x-force grouping, my avengers reborn bases are all different colors/styles. not to mention iron man is off in his own world of not being able to link up well with Cap and Thor

Erick, as much as this thread got derailed you should know that this is bar none the best Archangel sculpt going.

Thanks Jansen for putting these pics together. It really puts to light why they used that base instead of the gargoyle thing. Thing is I wish they would have switched the Wolverine base since it looks like they will not produce it. It makes no sense to have Wolverine on the top of a building corner, but the rumble would have made sense for him.

Makes sense...too bad, because the X-Men version would have been more popular than the X-Force. I don't know all the business transactions that go on between Koto and their paint application department, but doesn't it make sense to paint the characters that are on both teams in their respective colors...? I mean, wouldn't it save cost? The Wolverine, Deadpool, Psylocke and this Archangel all could have been painted in one shot (instead of going back and getting them re-painted later).

Maybe it's Koto's way of getting the most sales for these statues. If they paint them all at once collectors will likely pick and choose which ones they'll buy...?

I think that this is definitely gonna be something that I'm pre-ordering, without a doubt. I've been looking for a great X-Force Archangel sculpt, and with Uncanny X-Force #10's cover art to display with it, it'll be beautiful. The base does look a bit off, but in the end, I hardly think that will matter. I'll just be happy to have it in my house.
