After just nailing the female portraits the last few years, this seems like a step back. Not terrible, just not on par with what we are used to from SS. Definitely bland.

uninspired comes to mind. I originally liked the EX head better but now am thinking the masked one is the better of the two. Not many 1/4 or bigger hawkgirl statues around so this may be passable.

I think people are being a bit harsh on the statue as the quality of my pictures isn’t the best either (iPhone).
In person, I do like the Hawkgirl Ex portrait much more than previous portraits such as Rogue or Sonja.

I think the statue looks great its just the portraits that worry me, the paint looks bland on them maybe its just your photos , I need to see more pics before I decide to add this to my collection

Here is a photo of the Rogue Ex taken with the same iPhone if people want to be able to do a comparison. Not much difference in the paint job in my opinion but the sculpt on the Hawkgirl portrait if infinitely better.

Why are we always blaming iPhone on crappy pics? It’s the user that takes the picture 
As you can see, this is shot with an iPhone.
