I was gonna bump this thread today too!
Dropped:
True Blood. I'm done after the Tainted Love storyline. I can't even work out where these stories sit in the tv series timeline anymore, and the amount of conflicting info they have versus the series makes me wonder if Alan Ball really is writing both mediums
Picked up:
Moon Knight. The creative team meant I was on from day one, still finding it's feet but the L.A. setting and Bendis writing Maya again bodes well for this book. Still not convinced the major plot contrivance works, but I'm willing to see how it plays out

13)Animal Man
these are the only books that looked interesting to me. I'm really thinking that many of the obscure books will not hit 25 books, at least half of them.

For sure I'll be picking up all the GL related titles especially after the status quo change at the end of War of the GLs.

I think there were 4 covers for #1 so I'm sure there will be plenty to choose from at your LCS.

Moon Knight doesnt seem to have much staying power though...except for that series in the late 80s/early 90s which lasted more than 30something issues. I take it this is yet another new series?

Waited til the end of the war right? Not curious to see how the new GL will take over the title?

Hey Primar!
Yeah, I waited til the end of it, I like to finish the arcs(even though they suck sometimes!)
I got tired with so many event after event in the GL Universe(after BN).
Kinda curious about the new status quo of Green Lantern but the whole 'reboot' iniciative is my chance to leave the DC Universe ship.
Let's see.

I was looking for any excuse and BAM! DC came with this 'terrific' idea.
I hope not be tempted!

Sad but oh so true
The Bendis\Finch stuff was just beautiful, but the problem with Moon Knight is and always has been, his convoluted history. In fact for a character as "young" as MK, he'd have to be the most inaccessible character going around.
So many things have been tried, so much has contradicted what has come before, and yep this is a new book and yet another new angle on Marc Spector's fractured psyche. I'm a MK fan or I wouldn't have bothered, but like you suspect Omar, I'd be surprised if this book hits issue #30. Not through bad story or art, but just because traditionally he's never captured a large enough audience
