Slammin body. The back of the suit is fun - I didn’t realize it was an hourglass pattern. Paints look very nice too. The base still looks duller than it was, but I still like it a lot.

But that face is a travesty straight on. It’s painted perfectly, but that’s like putting lipstick on a pig.

Yep...head is very well painted and no googly eyes...bit the sculpt is a total waste. Imagine all that wasted opportunity.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

She looks good but not great. I may get her in the future. the collectors edition is fine by me as I am not a fan of the exclusive psychic knife. I never really like the way its been represented. I think the best represtentation of the psychic knife is still the Kotobukiya DRS Psylocke and and Iron Studios 1:10 psylocke.

For sure, it looks worse than expected. Looks less alien, more lady-boy.
The body appears to have turned out good. A custom portrait could save the day

Whats worse is we will never find out why the decision to change the portrait was made and how the final sculpt got approved for production.

The decision to change the portrait was caused by Sideshow listening to collectors moaning they did not like the (original) portrait.

I’m not even sure about that. I feel like Sideshow planned two portraits but included one in the end to save on the production cost.

It was probably a decision made very late in the process as in the unboxing video you can see that some space was planned in the box next to the other head and that space has exactly the shape of the other head.

Just adding a bit to the injury.

Possibly. As it's unusual for Sideshow to listen to collectors when it comes to altering things.
