Hey guys I need some help here. I decided to use an old tv stand I had in storage for my medusa display platform. The thing is though, it's old and beat up and looks like crap. It fits her PERFECTLY it's awesome. I need help making it look better though, what would you all suggest cover wise? I haven't an artistic or creative bone in my body and don't have an eye for anything so any help would be much appreciated. Here is a pic. I would like to put some kind of risers under the cabinet to make it higher also but I think just some cinder blocks would work since they would be covered any way.
Thanks for any input!

I would cover the stand with some kind of drapery. Maybe a white table cloth would work nicely.

Yeah that sounds like something I was thinking about, I wasn't sure which color would look the best though. Light, dark, or something that matches the Medusa color. Silky, cotton, all kinds of choices! xD this is why I get overwhelmed with this kind of stuff =S

I nice thick white cloth (neutral color) will work great with it. It will compliment the statue really well. The cloth needs to cover the entire stand. I would have it touching the ground.

Goodluck Paul. Black would work well too. I wouldn't go shiny on it (I think it will detract from it), but the cloth needs to be thick. It will make it more sophisticated.

I would spray paint the cabinet with black or a color close to her base color, maybe a dark gray. Then, add a drape across the opening. Just get a tiny tension rod and find a black drape at a store. Then you can use the bottom for some kind of storage.
