A Quiet Place (2018) - In a post-apocalyptic world, a family is forced to live in silence while hiding from monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing.

I shouldn't have waited so long to see this for the first time. The marketing of the sequel made it obvious who survived and who didn't. 7/10

Probably seen this 30 times. Love it.

This was my first time seeing this movie after reading for years how revered it is. Fortunately this was the original theatrical version and not the much-altered director's cut that turns it into a comic book. I love that it's a time capsule of the late 70s New York City subway system. It's almost as dangerous today apparently! 8/10

Terrifier (2016)
6.8/10

Obviously lower budget than the follow up. That is not necessarily a bad thing.
The high contrast picture quality gave the movie a somewhat surreal edge. Think Sin City (2005) only with more color, mostly green's and red's.
The acting took me back to 80's horror, as did the audio and the way it cuts in as and when.
Who is Art the Clown? just another nut-job?

Pretty dreadful.

Marvel did good with Black Panther 2 Wakanda Forever. I'll give it a ... 9.5/10.

They totally honored Chadwick Boseman in this movie. And the way they moved forward without Boseman was endearing ...and one I didn't see coming. I wish I could say more, but no spoilers.

This movie was a tear-jerker for sure. It is a great movie. My wife and I loved it.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever 8/10 - I definitely liked this one quite a bit more than the first one.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - 8.5/10

Very good follow up. Still makes me sad, the loss of Chadwick Boseman. They did a nice job paying tribute to him.

Black Panther Wakanda Forever - 9/10. Coogler did a great job in honoring Boseman while also showing how rich the characters left behind are to the Black Panther mythos. I hope Feige entices him to do something else in the Marvel world.

Namor will definitely be a hit or miss for his Marvel comic book fans, but I enjoyed this interpretation.

I take it you haven't seen Bone Tomahawk?

Wakanda Forever - 6/10

It was ok. Good action. Okoye fighting is good. Everything Namor was good. Not really Atlantis looks amazing. But aside from paying tribute to Chadwick Boseman it felt like the movie was pointless. I’d rather had a Namor specific movie.
