Looking pretty great, darb. I'll probably repaint mine later, especially seeing how yours is shaping up. Mine isn't perfect but I can also say if I didn't know Toynami didn't produce it, I'd be hard pressed to realize the truth. I don't know how far CC went into QCing my piece if at all, but if they did then they redeemed it's final appearance, or the factory got a few really good ones past inspectors. I definitely feel that it is nothing to be ashamed about for display. It's just got the usual TG aluminum finish going on and I'm still biased for a more classic metal look so a repaint is probably in the works.
Tomorrow I'll take some pictures in daylight. I think that's my only option to get decent pictures out of my HTC m9. My lighting just isn't cutting it at 60 watts. I won't have better until I am ready to move into my new home.
With gun, wasn't too hard to install it:
Max settings, tailored for my lighting conditions, 2.5ish MB pictures:
Yeah, that's what I'm working with when I take my pictures, before they are downsized for posting. I'll take any pointers but I think it boils down to lighting and shaky hands while trying to use a finger to take pictures. I took a few with steady hands but they came out too dark. Ever since I installed the last update to my phone the other day my flash only works when I cycle through the options and then it's only once until I cycle again...
BTW I hope I'm using the right batteries. I shoved 2x of the standard size battery used for most small timer apps like this one here. They fit perfectly and the eyes light up so I can only assume
