would you settle for a sovereign studios custom 1/6 newt with rooted hair?

accessories include newt's doll head and tracking device given to newt from ripley via hicks.

a more weathered look for the rooted hair version.

and the alternate head with sculpted hair.

The custom Newt doesn't look too bad, but the regular Newt is another matter.

so i'm assuming you like the rooted hair version instead of the sculpted hair version? i have the rooted hair version displayed but decided to get both head sculpts for the sake of owning both. great job by shawn, even though it took a long time to receive this custom newt.

[QUOTE=Xenomorph79;2025207]Ok... due to palisades toys dropping the ball on the whole Aliens franchise by the company folding in on us just as it was getting steam with their entire Alien/ Predator line, I think Gentle Giant would be an excellent choice of a company to pick up the license and run with it!!! I mean they make incredible Star wars busts and they've gone far and wide with that line!

Who else besides me would love to see the Aliens redone by Gentle Giant with a few new additions... for starters we could actually have polystone busts of the following:

Ellen Ripley
Rebecca "Newt" Jorden
Cpl. Dwayne Hicks
Bishop

I have all alien bust of palisades, incl the limited edition grid buste of 244 pieces.
The whole colection looks great of aliens, and the predators togheter.
The thing i would like to see,is a bust of ellen ripley.
She is next to the alien and predator, the only icon left of this serie.
What would be nice as well, what i havend seen till this far,is a mini scale bust of the hybrith alien.

The statueus that are allready there, that are made by sideshow, the scenes with base, that are loooking good,to bad they are very expensive.

I'm not sure I would collect them as I'm more of a Star Wars fan, but believe they would do a good jobe with these. I would at least like to see them.

Yep, the rooted hair looks far superior.
I'm assuming the portrait has also been repainted, as it too looks better.
