Wait a year at least!!! ...then go buy it...
Every Apple product that has come out has been thru alot of changes...just wait because the one you buy (as soon as it is released) will be garbage next year...Don't believe me..Just take a look at the I-pods and I-phones..how many versions are there now??

Actually that applies more to their pro products, which is why i never buy a Rev A and always wait for Rev B items. But my iTouch is a first gen and that damn thing has been a work horse. Only issue was soldering the new battery inside of it since it wasnt a click on one.
But then again all things made these days are obsolete 3 months later....

Agreed, at least a year for 2nd gen, maybe even 3rd. iPhone 3GS was a big jump from the first 2 versions.
