Nexus is about a reluctant assassin of mass murderers.
it's about a guy who is given great powers and abilities, by a God like being. However, with those powers comes the responsibility or obligation of killing mass murderers.
He has no choice.
he is induced to kill these murderers in 2 ways. first, he lives and feels the death experience of the victims.
Second, if that doesn't work, he gets very sick and suffers from terrible migranes until he punishes the guilty.
along the way he befriended an ape like creature and they go on adventures together.
He is also loved by Sundra peal,...one of MY comic loves.

it is set in a futuristic setting where humans interact with all sorts of alien beings.

One of the best comics to ever be publsihed IMO.
and the Dude's art was just ,...words can't describe how good it was in that series.

I own a couple of pieces done by him. Just a very surreal and nostalgic artist who is very unique in his own style.

I really like Steve Rude's work... However, I wonder if his more recent pieces capture the same passion for the art of superheroes. All this to say that Rude at 50% is still better than most.

Love Steve's art.Only thing with Steve is if you ask for a commission thru his site if he isnt interested in drawing the character you want he will turn you down.

Steve rude has the old noir feel that most people try to imitate but few really accomplish, except for Rude. I own this Indy print that is signed and personalized to me:

They can be bought on his site

Rude is making it to a local comic show. I hope to land a sketch by him, or at least to have my batman black and white statue signed

I'd love to get a Steve Rude sketch. He does great stuff, no doubt. How do you get a commission from him? Or from anyone? I'd love to get something from both him and Tim Sale.

I'm thinking of getting a small sketch commission to go with my black and white batman statue, is there anything in particular I should ask for or do you usually let it up to the artist?

First time buying a commission so starting with a small one but hopefully not the last
