Doesn't that worry you that you'd check it for damage? Knock on wood.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Only a couple have been broken.

One from an ebay transaction (always get the insurance!) that turned out to be a good thing because the "custom" paint on this thing was an abomination...took a while, but between paypal and my CC I didn't owe a dime.

One from my supplier. Seems like when they switched from UPS to DHL is when the issue began.

There have been a couple more...but I chalk them up to poor packing/box design from the manufacturer (DC).

It does seem that she's gotten a wee bit close to the radial saw...kinda like my 7th grade shop teacher.

Thank you.

At the risk of jinxing myself, I rarely, if ever, get anything broken these days. Most distributors (and even eBay sellers) now know what they're doing and the improvements manufacturers have made in the styrofoam fittings for statues in the boxes have been phenomenal.

I used to receive broken statues years ago, around the mid and late 90s when the hobby really started to buzz. Both the manufacturer and seller didn't always properly package stuff. Nowadays, it's so much better as everyone has learned (the hard way) not to take anything for granted.
