what is the time frame we're talking about? I'd like one, but it could be the end of January before I'd have the extra $$.
This is assuming the list isn't full.

As far as shipping goes - I'll be glad to ship all of the pieces directly to the buyer.
No problem with that!
You're at 5 (or 6?) now! If we can get to 8 let's go ahead and do this.

There *is* a wait. Al Rio does comic pages too and that takes a lot of time. There *are* other commissions in the queue and he does work daily.
Wait time - like it says on the site - is 12-18 weeks. A lot depends on timing since he ships once a month from Brasil.

Since the timing is 12 to 18 weeks can we work out a 50% deposit and balance when ready to deliver?

That's not something I'd like to manage. Lots of things could change in 12-18 weeks.

yeah this is my point with a lot of artists and why I now only work with ones who do a 50% deposit upfront. It is a pain to shell out money for something you know you will not see in 3-5 months and if there are complications even longer....

Terry
you could set up a paypal account for commissions payments and leave the 50% deposits in there in sorta an escrow account till the pieces are finished. That way if something does happen the money is still all there if needed to be refunded.
