Well yea with the sculpey you can just sculpt it then bake it then dress it but it's not a very durable material. Casting it in resin would give it a much longer life.

You can also use a 2 part polymer clay that doesn't require baking, like Apoxie.

True Apoxie would work but it would cost a fortune to sculpt a full 1/3 scale figure.
