I finally got my Cinemaquette TX. Over all I`m very happy with it except a few minor things.
1. Her left foot & ankle have a small scratch (I can live with)
2. A slight paint chip on the black portion of her left leg (sorted with a touch in pen)
3. A blob of glue just below the name plate (can`t seem to remove it, but not a big problem)
4. On her left arm there seems to be paint speckles between elbow and wrist.
(Looks like the grey detailing paint has been flicked.) If this is the case, its very poor workmanship.

Out of the problems I mention above the only one that bothers me is the paint speckles. But I`ve decide to keep it rather than return it because CM pieces are just so damn hard to get in the UK.
hmmm, tril where did you buy it from? how much did you pay? as for the problems...

1) ok
2) ok
3) have you removed the sticky plastic protective covering from the front of the name plate? often air bubbles under these resemble glue spots. see if you can find the edge of the plastic covering and peel it back and away to expose the name plate properly.
4) yes poor - personally I wouldn't take the unavailability of this piece in the UK as a good enough reason to keep it if you are unhappy with it. CM need to know about these problems and sort them all out for these statues to continue to be viable. There QC is gonna have to improve.

Other than that congrats on this statue. It is one I have on order. The light up effect is awesome on this piece and I can't wait to own one.

Thumbs down Update.

On closer inspection, theres far more problems with the TX than I first thought, so its gone back in the box and It`ll be returned.

Good call on returning it.

There just looked to be too many flaws with it...good luck getting another.

Great piece.

It was definitely glue.

Not that it makes any difference now.

Yeah, thats how I started to look at it. I just don`t think I could have lived with the faults, so it seemed to be the best thing.
Now to try and find another.

Trilogy you did good mate. For two reasons, firstly the piece was too damaged. There are no two ways about it the unit was wrecked.

Secondly those ******* at FP.com dont get to keep your cash.

I would not pay them anything for a piece ever again. They are rip off merchants with some of the most appaling customer service I ever knew. All that rubbish about buyers not being able to source another one...
HELLO FP.COM YOU ARE THE ONE AND ONLY AUTHORISED DISTRIBUTOR FOR CM'S IN THIS COUNTRY, IF YOUR BUYERS CAN'T SOURCE ONE FROM SUCH A PRIVELAGED POSITION WE ARE ALL F*****!

Be sure to photograph EVERYTHING. Email CM and explain the problem and what you have had to do. Also let them know how shocking the customer service was from FP.com. GOOD LUCK

I`m unable to take photos of the faults to send CM due to my camera currently not working.
