Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

These look OK for what they are trying to capture, but I have no interest in them.

Give me the classic Superman from the comics...I couldn't care less about the movie versions of any superhero movie I can think of.

While I'm at it.........

The movie costume SUX!

The "S" is too small
The belt buckle "S" is hokey...(the same logo is directly above it)
Superman has no business wearing man-panties

Sorry...had to vent.

well majorly disapointed so far. was really hoping for some great stuff for this movie. but like it's been said, they don't look that great. hopefully there will be some good peices that come out of this.

...yep, more of same, tired, 'regenerated' poses with little imagination behind the product. DC's after the almighty buck, alone, on this gig. Even some my big Superman clients are passing in these pieces with just another actor's head (awful likenesses) on what's been seen over and over again.

Cosindering that the Lex/Supes and Supes/Lois statues are being done by WETA to be distributed by DC, they might turn out better than if DC did them in-house.

That's why they look better than the other stuff. Thanks for that info.

I like the Christopher Reeves look, hard to beat that in my heart as to supe's look.
I have seen close up shots of the new suit, made up of tiny s's over the complete material. Doubt anything will catch that detailing. I was not absolutely happy with the new design at first, but it has grown on me with more of the shots I see.
I think alot of the negative and nuetral stances may change after the movie comes out. Suppose to have more of a darker reality theme to it and Bryan Singer has quite a good track record with franchise movies.

I really hope that the Luthor statue sells well. That way it would show how false Randy's theory about people not wanting to have a statue where the hero is defeated (i.e. the awesome Loki statue, he didn't make) really is.
