Well one thing is for sure the Boss is going to throw some more money around next year. Which sucks for the Mets because we both need pitching and I can see the Yanks driving up the price on every decent arm that comes along.

Not every team can use that excuse. Theres a couple of teams that could make moves and make baseball more than a 6 team race but the owners choose to be assbags - And these small market teams should be sitting down and thinking of ways to generate revenue and ways to get the fans interested. Instead they sit back and blame the Yankees for all their problems. It's a crock of sh!t.

No its not. The Royals, BlueJays, Tigers, and other smaller market teams do not (and will not) have the Yankees $200 million payroll. And wont come close. Not the Yankees fault, they're in NYC obviously. But to say its not a factor is untrue. Thankfully other teams have been able to do it the old fashioned way and build from within and put pieces together. Obviously, the Yankee way is not the only way.
