Finally, after checking the hot wheels displays each time I went to our local department stores, I found a single 1966 Batmobile on the pegs.

It’s a nice looking little car but I’m really looking forward to buying the 1/18 version.

Don't be too depressed, but the 1/18 has been delayed until March next year according to one of the sources I pre-ordered from.

According to website www.1966batmobile.com

"*1:18 Batmobile will be launched Jan. 2008 to hobby shops (Elite and Super Elite version) and March 2008 for all major retailers (regular/mass version).

*1:50 Batmobile will be launched March 2008 to everyone"

I just picked up the 1966 Batmobile hotwheels and the Johnny Lightning 1955 Lincoln Futura both are pretty sweet.

The smaller one, I heard the large 1966 batmobile wasn't going to be made. Tho there was a, high detail version that was limited edition to Hot Wheels fans on thier site. Not sure how that went.

The exclusive convention version was pretty nice too.

They will probably be recalled due to high volumes of lead paint.
