One thing right that Fox did today that paramount didn’t is name some big releases, I’m not a big fan of the movies they have slated but still Die hard will bring in some numbers. Don’t get me wrong Edward Scissorhands and cast away are two of my favorite movies but I'm not bothered to upgrade in visual quality for movies like that. Picture-ess Epic movies like Master and Commander, Independence Day and I-Robot are the movies that I and I'm sure most HD enthusiast look forward to.

All Paramount has to do is announce gladiator or Indy
And it will definitely sell some HD players

That being said if Fox announces Star Wars today it will end the war single handedly, I’m no star wars buff there are millions who are.

Interesting read. Looks like they were paid $100million and $50million each. So much for looking out for the consumers lol.

Never realized this was such a big deal....

Oh well, hopefully by the time i decide to get a plasma/LCD this whole mess will be straightened out...

Interesting read. As I said, I smell a pay off. I can`t see why else Paramount would make such a drastic move.

LED Backlight LCDs will be out in a couple of days
the new Samsung 81 series touts a 100kto1 contrast ratio
and its priced similar to the new sony XBR4\5s

Nows the time to buy an LCD
