I think if Giradi had problesms with the front office and owner at his coaching job, things may look bleak for his tenure if he gets the yankee job.
I like B showalter as well.
I saw him as the most unlikest coah of all time, He hleps build the yankees to this dynamo in the 90's and before he can reap the rewards he gets canned. HE moves to Arizona where the helps build them up and just before they win the big one he gets canned as well. That would drive me nuts if I were him.

Agree. I don't think the Dodgers can afford him, & they are unwilling to trade many of their top players to get him.
I'm hoping Mike Lowell...or any other big name free agent besides A-Rod...might like to play for Torre in LA

The situation he had with the Yankees was very unique...
the Dodgers just don't seem to me to be an up & coming team
