All the good things about GG were lost and I don't see them bringing it back.

If they release more great pieces, then I'll be buying more. If they release less, I'll be buying less. GG seems to be a company run by arrogant knucklehead a$$clowns, but they have been putting out some nice products. The Star Wars busts are certainly some of the nicest SW collectibles made. And I'm still POed about the whole blackhole ST debacle and had to spend about $600 for the blasted WT troopers. But as I've said in another thread, I would be fine with them doing 5 show exclusives this year IF:
1. they make the runs a minimum of 2,000 (preferably 2,500) to keep ebay prices reasonable. I don't have a problem paying a 100% ($50 markup/$100 bust) or even 200% ($100 markup/$150 bust) premium to someone who went to a show when I didn't. It's 300%+ markup expecially when coupled with high international shipping when it gets out of hand.
2. The conduct their raffles FAIRLY-- None of this regional weighting, special friends, double-dipper stuff (so we can hear folks crowing about getting multiples, to the very people who lost out because of their greed). An honest out-an-out random drawing.
3. The character selection is interesting and fewer repaints and more original sculpts or new versions of already done characters. How about a cloud city Lando, Slave Leia, Queen Amidala.

The Star Wars statues have been hit and miss. So we have some but passed on Obi Wan.

That said, my daughter loves the Harry Potter line, and the LOTR busts are also nice. The statues are hit and misEverything else (animated, bust ups , classics, and other lines). No interest in 2008.

I will be buying less as I will no longer be collecting prequel items. I will continue to buy Original Trilogy busts and statues that they make. Maybe a few maquettes. I am also still getting the Harry Potter busts.

If they don't get their crap together, though, I may end up dropping more than just their prequel items.
