saw it last night and I am not sure what to think about it, I caught it about 15 mins into the show and it only continued to get stranger as the minutes rolled on. I will give it a chance and check out the next weeks show.

I enjoyed it a lot. Jim thinks, and I agree, that this is the kind of series that builds to something. Yeah, not a -lot- happened in this episode, but you can sort of feel where the story will start to crescendo as it gains its feet.

I'm a big vampire fan, was looking forward to this a lot since getting the teasers at SDCC, but was a bit underwhelmed by this episode. Though I think superdoug's right, this show will need to get some traction and likely will get better as it goes on.

Saw this last night. I thought it was pretty good, and I'm looking forward to see the next one. I'm not a big fan of Anna Paquin, but I thought she was pretty good in this.

Not quite what I was expecting but I'll watch a few more episodes to see if it gets more interesting. Those accents are already getting on my nerves though.

Based on most of the comments here I think I'm going to stack a few episodes on my DVR before getting into this.
