eh, Vadar would've died at a much younger age then maul had he not been completly rebuilt 6 million dollar man style

True, but then again no one was ever able to cut Vader completely in half. That's a mighty big "L" hanging over Maul.

Vader was beaten by the same exact person who beat Maul, and he was pretty much cut in half as well (burnt in half in this case)  heh i don't know why i'm still arguing you guys are technicly right and Vader would win the fight, i just don't think he should

Vader and Maul weren't beaten by the same exact person--not really. Anakin was beaten by Obi-Wan (and even then, I think you can make the argument that the new influx of power had at that point made him pretty nuts--all that power, not knowing how yet to channel it). Vader wasn't.
More importantly, Maul was beaten by Obi-Wan when Obi-Wan was still an apprentice. Obi-Wan was a Master by the time he beat Anakin--who, while he might be the same person, has a different power set than did Vader.

sure little Ani was a bit nuts, but i doubt it effected his fighting. and Obi was a bit more seasoned when he foght Ani but Maul still fought him and Qui-Gon who by all accounts was a superior jedi to even Obi as a master
