What CM's been doing is to hitch a ride of a franchise. Something that is still hot or coming soon will make more sense.
Like the The Godfather and Bruce Lee? Their choices of late have been strange.

I wouldn't concern yourself too much. The next release will not be Hannibal.

The Godfather and Bruce Lee are hugely iconic and extremely popular. I would not think of them as strange choices.

I meant in the contex of the following post "What CM's been doing is to hitch a ride of a franchise. Something that is still hot or coming soon will make more sense". Godfather a "hot" franchise?

My own personal feeling is that Bruce Lee and The Godfather are a little off track... My impression was that CM was only going to issue Scifi/fantasy/adventure type figures. Now with the Godfather anything is possible.

My apologies for misinterpreting your post.

Although I would not categorise Bruce Lee or The Godfather as hot franchises, their fan base and popularity are undeniable. Due to these, one can understand the decision behind producing representations of both.

I believe this to be a misconception caused by Cinemaquette's initial releases.
