Well put Ringu,
it is in fact lifelike and unique, we have said it before to each his own, everyone has there opinions as long as you are comfortable with yours, that is all that matters.

Collect what you love

That may indeed be true, in fact I trust you that it is, but it still looks artificial and unnatural to me, maybe because of part of the treatment process, I don't know. It just doesn't look like it has any life to it to me, in the same way that you can usually tell a wig from a mile off, even the "high quality" real hair ones. The hair just doesn't look alive, frankly because its not any more. At least thats my view based on the pieces that I've seen in person. But to each their own.

As I said though, for these type of pieces there really is no other option though, and anything else would look far worse.

Oh yeah real hair on silicone sucks... not!

I know what I'd prefer when looking at these:

Left silicon and real hair punched. On right painted resin.

To me there is no contest.

Hold on, isn't the bust on the right completely in resin? i.e the face as well? I dont think anyone is arguing about resin face + resin hair vs silicon head + real hair. It's silicon head + real hair vs silicon head + resin hair. Just want to make sure. Either way, the one on the left looks AMAZING

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Hi guys , both the davids I made, but some pieces you can get away with , such as a captain Spaulding, this face is in resin human hair. david in the pic is resin with real hair.
all sorts of ways you can go about it, but I love Silicon.
