Now if DC had Randy and the other sculptors from marvel making products for DC I will buy stuff from them in a heart beat. It's ashame they don't have sculptors who make products up on the same echelon like Bowen.

Give your head a shake... they have amazing sculptors like Bergholtz, Villafane and Mathews under contract... guys who arguable surpass the competition. See Sideshow Wolverine comiquette by Villafane vs. any of the BD offerings.
Having said that this bust is poor. Asian factory paint jobs are a problem even Bowen designs has faced in the past (see modern IM).

Make no mistake your right Matches Malone about Bowen issues but I don't see of any of DC pieces that were done that would make me want to purchase one. Except for Batman and the Green Arrow, there the only notable exceptions. I would look at those mbs b/c they're good enough to buy. Not to knock the sculptors who make the line for DC Direct but nothing stands out for me. They do make pretty good statues from what I've seen on their website. I just think they do a grave injustice to the characters. Too cartoonish for me especially with the smiling faces on the female heroines. They need to add some seriousness to their faces. Make them intense that's just my opinion.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I got mine today. The only paint issue is a little blue paint is on the chain link behind his left arm. No red paint on the body (at least, not anywhere it's not supposed to be).
I think the sculpt is very close to the source art, something that can't be said for the Batman bust.

Hmm, they're decent sculpts, but the poses are just way too generic for my taste.
