I agree, all 5 are just plain awesome and highly detailed.

However I will agree with an earlier post, the high detail does come with a cost - they are fragile. I had to be very careful holding Blondie as not to break anything.

I was actually referring to the production run for each statue, which I consider a big thing. It is excellent that they have maintained consistency among the five girls, but to do that within each run is an even bigger achievement.

I am starting to worry abit now concerning replacement.

Had a few back and forth emails with GG yesterday and looked like they were preparing a replacement. But they wanted me to deliver my damaged statue to domestic post service for a damage assessment.

The shipping rep at GG had listed a waay low value on the item which would make trouble for any insurance claims anyways, and I am reluctant to send this one, which after my 2 small repairs is seemingly in good condition away to be handled by a sloppy claims person who didnt care if it was further damaged.

Will prefer this one over one even more damaged.

Got an offer for $100 credit since I had stated is was 'fairly usable'.. unacceptable

Please GG, dont be like this...

Blondie is the least favorite of the GG SP girls in my opinion. She looks too faded out (paintwise speaking). The sculpt of course is great.

Really? She looks vibrant to me. I like that they got her skin tone right. Darker than Baby/Sweet/Rocket, but lighter than Amber.

Probably just a result of some of the pics being a bit washed out.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Also there was a small crack on the belt on the rear a 1/2 inch after the tomahawk. the cracked belt was easily fixed with some glue, is held together by its own tension.

I did add some glue to the connecting surfaces of the leg, but does not seem like all the surfaces are in contact, but with both legs secured with the screws and Blondie leaning towards the broken leg, it stands very securely.

Will contact GG to check possibility of a replacement though.

Here are all the girls together (Click for supersize):

Broken off leg

Cracked belt, sorry for out of focus, camera only wanted the background

I am really inlove with this statues.. I saw them in my local comicshop. If by next year they are still available, I will start picking them up one by one.. Though Baby doll is the only one missing. I'll start with my two favorites SP Girls, Rocket and Sweat Pea.

I second that, unless you have a decent lighting setup, pictures will never do the subject justice. Blondie is not "washed out" in person...
