Its a bit of a test as these things usually do best on EBay where there are way more eyes and buyers.
If our website was up to speed I would just hold our own auctions for this kind of thing as I dont like dealing with EBay and their rules.
We did a vote at the office on price. I took the price everyone thought they should sell for and then averaged it.

Thanks for doing something like this.
Also really like the newsletter with the Gems coming out today at the usually time of 9:00 AM Pacific. Really saves a lot of time.

Agreed. Is this something that we should expect to see going forward Jerry, or was this Gem special since it may not get snatched up immediately like other pieces in the past?
I thought maybe they were previously delayed since not all recipients get the newsletter on time, so the delay would help ensure as many recipients received it before the gem program went live?

Other than one time when i accidentally set it for 10am, they always go out at 9am. However because there are so many people on the newlsietter now, its possible that the service batch sends them so it takes 15-20 minutes for all to send.
Ill do more prototypes in the future but it wont be too regular.
I also may split things up. So instead of there being 10-15 pieces of something. Ill put up 5 and then a couple months later anouther 5, etc...

I prefer those Scorpion heads for sure and would buy this but not for $3500. I'd want Jerry to touch it up too so it could be displayed.
