Great news, I did end up getting the piece at an amazing price, comparable to recent SS PF prices so I went and picked it up yesterday and set the whole thing up. I am completely blown away by this, it's incredible and as this is my first XM piece, I can now see what all the hype is about.

They've set the bar so damn high with quality in terms of weight, build and paint. When I picked mine up, I chose to not inspect it there as my wife was waiting in the car, I did have concerns about chipping or QC related issues I saw on some reviews and fellow collectors who got this piece; I found none. Thor is immaculate barring some very very VERY minor overspray on one of the switch out hands. This thing has so much presence and commands attention, it really is fantastic.

Here's one shot of it during the setup that I took, it's ginormous haha

Welcome to XM slavery statue collecting my friend. If you think thor is impressive (which he most certainly is), I couldn't tell you just how much more impressive Black Bolt, Phoenix, Daredevil, Magneto, Ghost Rider and a future buttload of other statues are.

I actually did have Ghostrider on order from a seller in Singapore at an outrageous price, but that thing looks amazing and I'm not sure SS can top that haha

He's one of the first statues you see in my man cave.

Nice setup...and he is a perfect place. Takes up room so the corner seems a great spot for him.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
