Well the good news is a Koto thread is getting a lot of ink. I looked at this again at the LCS. Still looks okie to me, but can someone, without malice, list any pros and cons. I'm trying to find the review through these 30-odd pages.

For me some of the pros are:
1. The Price - for $150, it lights up and is great alternative for those that didn't get the SS version.
2. The Sculpt/Paint - it's movie accurrate & the colors aren't too dark or too light.
3. It's lightweight & it's all one piece.
The only cons I got are:
1. The Packaging - It's a black box with pics only on the back. Also, they use the cheap styrofoam & it flakes off when you remove it/put back into the box.
2. The Base - the name 'Iron Man' looks screen printed & will fade off easily. They should have sculpted 'Stark Enterprises' on it or just left it blank. Also, there's these 2 small extensions on the sides of the base that I don't think was necessary.

I saw it in my LCS. Doesn't look impressive at all. Very bad paints(too dark). Hope Koto would improve..

Saw it on display at local store. Didn't fancy the glossy blackish red non-metallic look. The chest light paintjob was also cartoonish blue.

I just received it yesterday, and I think it looks great.
I was a bit worried when I saw that all of the "light up" areas were painted, but the LED through the paint has the perfect brightness level for the statue. It was actually quite surprising how bright the areas became.
(in fact... it made me wonder if SS's new Iron Man Mark I will be light up or not. Many assumed it would not, due to the paint over the arc reactor.)

I think some of you guys just spend too much time on this board and have lost all sense of reality. I remember when most of you started on this board and your tones are getting rude.

Are rudeness and being in touch with reality related in some logical fashion?
Please advise.
