Aside from a few DC characters (mostly Batman related, a few others) I’m a Marvel guy ALL DAY but I know SS is more than Marvel. So far there’s been 1 official Marvel announcement and a leak, both are revisits as well. Power Girl is a revisit. It would be nice to see something else never done before at all. But actually SEE it as an indication it’s more likely to show up at some point. Ahsoka is the only new character and we don’t even know what it looks like.

It’s actually kind of funny there’s a big event like this and all that’s shown in many cases is a name on a banner to generate hype...meanwhile in XM land the reveals are just casual mentions on any random day like “so and so said Nightcrawler’s coming” lol

Amen! Which is why Prime1 statue reveals, while excellent generally, do not excite me in the least. And these SS teases so far, won’t be in collectors hands until 2022 at the earliest.

Agree, pretty much all shown end of this year won’t be delivered until 2022 Q2-Q-3 because of covid. Maybe by end of 2021 covid will be almost gone and get back on track.

I’m sorry banner reveals after everyone else’s events just kinda suck. I rather them do a silhouette outline even if changes are made on the work, at least gives fans something to go on

Cause at this point it just means 6-7 months until it shows at SDCC like taskmaster/silver surfer. Then another year or so before it ships.

I agree but also, if you've been in this hobby for any length of time, these delays are pretty standard these days. I mean, you may have a reveal and a statue in hands in 9-10 months for some pieces but that is a rare situation for sure.

Last year, we had 16 reveals during 12 Days. Only two have shipped, Doctor Strange and Robin.

LOL. Yes, it will be interesting to tally up the results when it is all said and done. My guess at this point is 7 rehashes and 5 new items (with the knowledge of the 3 rehashes and 1 new item "reveals" so far). I have a weird feeling there will be a new Hulk or an Iron Man announcement arriving shortly.

Don’t forget Batman. Last year we had 3 Batman-related pieces, and 4 the year before that.

Absolutely, you are right. Definitely a Batman will be one of the rehashes. They are due for another Batman 1/2 Legendary scale, aren't they?
