I've never been able to get into the chronicles of Narnia stuff. And I know this is blasphemy, but I've always thought the Lord of the Rings is overrated too.
I much prefer Karl Edward Wagner's Kane character or even the original Conan stuff to those.

That's why I figured you would enjoy the Thing, we agree on most everything (except atonement) entertainment wise.
