Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

I think the PCS Cammy statue goes for like $1000 these days. Which is why I think $800 for Cheetara is more than reasonable. Cheetara is way better than the Cammy statue.

I think most here aren't real fans of the Thundercats. Yeah they grew up watching the show but maybe didn't really want statues for the characters. This kind of feels like the Playmates TMNT statue situation. But they finished their line even though the numbers dropped off severely for the last two statues. You had to be a diehard fan to get Raph and Don. Now Donatello alone can go for $1000. I wouldn't be surprised if there were between 50-100 of the Donatello statue. Heck, Sideshow's Donatello Ex was going for $800 at one point. So you see why I don't think $800 is a lot for PCS's Cheetara statue.

A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.

That's what some were saying a while back on the boards. eBay search showed over $1000 for the Ex. I think a few Street Fighter characters from PCS go for over $800 in the aftermarket.

The Hard Hero Cheetara was bad. Really bad even if it tried to use the pose from the opening. There is a reason Hard Hero went under. You can't even compare the Hard Hero Cheetara to the PCS prototype. It's like comparing an average car to a Ferrari.

Hard Hero was run by Rob Potts. Rob lost the excitement of statue making and I'm sure the big rising costs in the economy added to him either abandoning the statue gig altogether, or, taking a hiatus.

Ill tell you this...

The TCats rights are not cheap and at the retail price HH was selling they would, in my estimate, need to be selling at least 500-600 of every character to justify what they paid WB.

I dont know their numbers but I dont think they were selling that many...

Either him or someone in his company posted about how bad things were and why they were closing up in another thread. It was one of those everything is bad posts. I believe I posted in the thread.

It looks like interest in Cheetara and the Thundercats has really dried up. Maybe this should have been an even more limited line to like 200 regular & 100 Ex with the full set previewed on the box or something like the TMNT Playmates statues. That way people would have expected to own the full set.

I'm going to check the other forums tonight to see for sure but it looks like everyone likes to say the Thundercats are cool but disappeared when the statues came out. Too bad as I really wanted Cheetara and didn't want to have to go the commission route.
