I thought the same thing. Maybe SSC thought that all these references to Juggernaut/Cerebro/Cyclops were enough to make a good base.
I love the sculpt of Emma, I am more concerned by the fabric cape than the EX head.

Not a Fan of the cyclops visor..but I bet it can be removed.
The ex is okay..will probably look better in person..Keep the X-men coming sideshow!

Looks like I can skip the EX for Emma.
I am underwhelmed by the EX portrait. Nicely sculpted and painted, but looks like very evil crazy woman and could've been prettier.
The base could have been better too. If I had to pick the generic silver base(from Dark Phoenix) or this partly destroyed Cerebro with Cykes visor base, I'd pick the generic one. It's nice though the concept of the base. It tells a story.
Laser singed melting metal effect on statues always remind me of melting cheese. They look like melted cheese to me.

I prefer environment bases, but just not this one. Oh well, more money saved.
