There are two movies. The Swedish film with the same title, and the U.S. version entitled "Let Me In".

I did not know there was a TV series.
I have watched the movie, the Swedish original. Which is very good.

I watched a YouTube video years ago comparing the two. The remake is best avoided for all number of reasons. One being the addition of unnecessary poorly realized CGI

The Watcher (Netflix) - 5/10. Eh, there was a couple of interesting things about this, but mostly it was chock-full of plot holes. Not to mention the fact that the husband and wife would literally run out and rampantly accuse anyone of being the guilty party based on a few new clues. Weak sauce.

Oh - is this "Let The Right One In" the same theme as the book? Assuming it it, I read the book!

Rings of Power - 2/10
This should have been so easy and with a massive budget behind it how could it go wrong? Simple, bad writing means I cared about none of the characters (maybe Durin IV) in a series based in a world I love. This is a classic example of a square peg (the IP) being forced into a round hole (the type of story the writers wanted).
Zero desire to rewatch and doubt I'll watch season two after I tried so hard with this. You can do everything else right, but if the writing falls flat, there is no connection and the story falls flat.

Nice house, though. I find myself strangely drawn to it...

Rings of Power - 4/10
The fight scenes were good. The landscapes too. But I was also very bored with the story.
Noir - 8/10
Noir is an anime from 2001. I'm not a big anime fan but I've always liked Noir

I loved a lot of the cast and the house, I just found the plot holes and constant jumping to conclusions kinda ruined it for me. Not to mention, some things that they obviously should have followed up on, but didn't. Things that any normal person would look into further were ignored (like the tunnel).
