Other companies would charge more for the amount of engineering Hot Toy does. I guess this piece is worth the price for the engineering alone.

I wonder if we are still getting "The Bat". The size of that thing - can't imagine how they could mass produce that.

Howard Chan has stated that The BAT would not be done during a toy convention here in SIngapore. Technically not possible for mass production.

Imagine what that proto would sell for? $50k? There's some crazy ass hot toys fans out there + it's one of a kind. But of course, they should keep it as an archive piece. Surely they built it originally expecting to sell it? If not, it's really cool of them to spend all that time and money just for display purposes. They must have realised along the way even their ambitions were just too big .. but their ambition certainly didnt succeed their talent - they made the beast.

They have to do the Batwing. I think someone here posted a scale photo saying that it would be too big at the scale of the figure. But I hope they are wrong. The cinemaquette version didn't have the weapons. The Batwing needs the weapons like the Batmobile.

the only realistic way to do the Bat is to release as kits, otheriwise its just impossible to send it to the customers and expect it to reach in one piece, it will be a logistics nightmare
