Oh, trust me, they knew. It was no accident that she was cast.

Personally, I feel like TWDs strongest area is their casting. I like that they will bring in more well known actors for smaller roles. Like Alicia Witt this week or John Carroll Lynch who played Eastman, the guy who helped Morgan get over his madness. I think it's awesome and helps cause a greater impact when we lose the character so soon. It's easier to bring in lesser known actors for the longer haul, but even then some of the newer long term actors are pretty well known like Cudlitz who plays Abraham, Jeffrey Dean Morgan who will be playing Negan, Jeffrey DeMunn who was already mentioned.

But going back to Alicia Witt, it really speaks to her talent that she had that much of an impact in just one episode. I really enjoyed her on the show and also wish it would have been for a longer run.

I don't think AMC knew what talent it had. Similar when Jeff DeMunn (Dale) was peaking or showing the talent before getting the boot. They're not giving new characters enough time or opportunity to develop. Wasting time on the veterans where their characters are going nowhere or straying off from the comic. I'm still confused on where they're going with Melissa McBride (Carol) on this show.
Seems like they have made Carol into a one woman army, but she is now troubled all the time by how many people she has killed. She would rather just bake cookies and have a boyfriend, and be happy with life that way.

And that line of thinking will eventually get you killed.

I personally think Maggie is gonna get it by Negan with a preggo joke to follow.

She's been front and center recently with talking to Gregory and kicking ass, and with the baby on the way, I think her fortune is about to run out.

Call me a cynic.

I have to say, I am thinking the same thing. They are going to what is not expected.

I think you're correct on this. Hopefully if it happens they won't send Glenn into a Rick style spiral. Don't get me wrong, Rick is my favorite character but it would just be cheap to have a re-hash.

Apparently, Glenn is supposed to be shooting a film around the same time TWD is supposed to start shooting again. This might just mean that TWD is accommodating his film schedule or that he's not on the show anymore.

Wait, she was that girl??

And it dawns on me that Patrick Stewart has looked the same for 30 years.

Damn right. For fans of hers, I'd recommend Season 5 of Justified. She was a recurring character, easy on the eyes and solid in her scenes.

I think 'C' is the closest to what I'm thinking.
