Anyways it seems that all the Regular Portraits have that gap in her hair while the deluxe one doesn't. Prime 1 is aware of the problem. Not sure if they'll be correcting them or what. I still think it looks good.

Also, this statue does not come with the feathers covering her boobs LOL. So keep that in mind before purchasing.

It's on the P1 Collectors Group Facebook. The moderator confirmed P1 is investigating into the issue of the gap on the regular face portrait.

The posts around Slan are gaining traction. This is not an issue Prime 1 can turn a blind eye on without fans bashing them.

I saw the same gap on the tongue portrait as well from a different person, so it doesn't seem to affect everyone the same nor does it seem portrait specific.

I'm looking to pick up my first Berserk statue from Prime 1. Can't decide between the 1/4 or 1/3 Black Swordsman statues. I can only find the regular version of the 1/4 still available and I'm worried the base is too busy... does anyone that owns the 1/4 care to weigh in? Is the EX a necessity?

the EX is not a necessity for the 1/4

if you are planning on getting more than one berserk statue i would suggest buying the 1/4 however if you are only interested in guts then get the 1/3.

The 1/4 Guts is a fantastic statue. The EX is just an extra head that you don't need. The base has a good amount going on, but it's not too much. The one thing I will say is that the whole thing is VERY HEAVY. I don't know that it needed to be that beefy, but I still love it.
The fact that you can buy it now makes me jealous, we've had to wait a long time to get him.

In my opinion the 1/4 version is the best Guts out right now. The 1/3 looks great, but the fabric cape gives me pause.

I think the 1/3 Guts has the better face sculpts by far but the base is lacking, the mixed media cape is a negative, and Guts is just way to jacked for what he looks like in the manga. I like the 1/4 more since its got more going on and the base is way more interesting. I just don't like the head sculpts that much since it reminds me of the new berserk anime. Both are great and you can't go wrong with either. I agree with Zombies though, if you just want guts get the 1/3. if you plan on getting other 1/4 pieces from the line get the 1/4 guts. EX is not a must have for him. The smiling head doesn't look that good tbh.
