Thanks for the pics! The statue looks cool. How do you feel about the pose and how to display him? Seems like much of the statue would be blocked by the cape depending on how it was displayed.

no worries guys...

pure, the light I had seemed too soft so I turned on the flash but will try without next time.

frisky, I just put him in with the cape forward without thinking that it was mostly blocked so I might see about turning him forward...my B&W display is getting very tight.

Yeah, my B&W display is getting tight as well. Curious to see how he looks displayed with your other B&W statues if you get a chance to post pictures of that.

as a follow up...
received my Frank Bats B&W piece and it had some damages. The paint was chipping down the left arm and it looks like someone at the factory tried to fix it but they used either glossy paint or marker to cover up the paint damage.
Needless to say, when the whole statue has a matte finish, and the "fix" is a glossy finish...it just looks dumb

I'm in the process of seeing if my LCS can get me another, if not then its going back. It looks good but since the paint already started to chip/peel away and needed a fix at the factory level, it'll likely only get worse with time.

I'll get some pics up later in the week of the damage

DC's legendary QC issues.

Glad that you will be getting a replacement. The worst QC issue(s) in the recent times has been with GG Arkham Origins Bats. I received one that was in a sad shape, but I worked on it and it looks better now. Too much effort to return it overseas and wait for another that might end being worse than the previous.
