Well aware as its been stated by PCS multiple times and I've heard it all before.

Technically this is a Pre-Production sample. ECC (along with others) have long claimed they only advertise production samples after receiving them from the factory. That's a load of crap to put it kindly.

Jerry has even sold factory samples as prototypes (I've owned one) and plenty of other companies will claim samples as prototypes when dissuading perceived differences.

Any factory always puts its best foot forward
So while without any knowledge to the contrary I will grant that this piece is a factory pre-production sample, WYSINWYG from mass production.

Prices now are bonkers. I don't see the value in it. But I didn't see the value in Prime 1 1/3 Predator, and I love Predator.

I've crashed through my ceiling before, but I'm not at a point where I'm willing to go over 2K for ANYTHING, and over 1.5K only for select few items.

I just can't accept having so much tied up in one piece. As qz often proclaims, these are mass-produced (albeit in smaller numbers than typical mass-produced items). They're not investments, and I'm not 'investing' more than 2K in any of them, at this time.

PCS likes going after these high profit margin items. They don't need to sell that many to make it worth their while.

This I cannot understand at all.

Mass produced or not for 4K I better be able to open the box and take a picture identical to these solicits. Yes we are all blessed to be here but regular people are buying this stuff not ultra wealthy. Buyers need to respect their finances and statue companies need to respect their customers, both potential and actual, that enable all these endeavors. That is the real issue.

Seems like a lot of determination to finish something started. Shows what these statue companies can really do when they want to regardless of customer interest. I'd say PCS decided to increase the profit margin based on few expected buyers.
I'd be shocked if this bust can hit 50 sold really anything past the teens.

Also I agree on Kristin Kreuk, she's a beautiful Chun-li. Although if it's up to me, I would change a bit: made Kreuk looks more Asian/Chinese.
She's now I think a 60% western 40% asian look, I would probably change it on the bust so she looks 70% Asian and 30% western.

Yep, I wish they had gone that route.

If they do it, it might justify the price a bit: they have to pay Kristin for her likeness.
Right now, with a minimum use of silicone, and no likeness rights to pay, the price is too high, IMHO.
