Try sitting like that and see if it feels comfortable to you. I like it, he seems very comfortable.

I think it's now completely obvious....DST has no plan of their own. They just want to copy what other statue makers are doing. This will not bode well for our hobby..."Damn them, Damn them all to Hell!"

Actually...............
Neither Diamond or Sideshow were the first to come up with the concept of having Doom in the throne as a sculpture/statue.

But the sculptor of this DST piece Alterton was actually the first to come up with this concept in sculpture form and was featured in Spectrum a couple of years back. I think it's great that Diamond contracted Alterton to sculpt the DST statue since it was originally his idea.

Both pieces are awesome but this one looks like Doom and not a Doombot.
I`ll be getting this one as well.

Both of these pieces are beautiful pieces of art. I have the SS one on order and Pablo has done an amazing job on that along with Martin. Its a much bigger scale than this one and the cost is value for money IMO. This one from the ever awesome Alterton is a stunning piece also. I will most likely order this one too although that may have to be put in the office as the missus wouldn't be happy seeing two of the same character and similar pose coming into the house. Great job Alterton. I'm glad DST didn't let you down like they did with the paintwork on that incredible Thor sculpt of yours. Bravo Sir.

Exactly my stance as well. I've ordered this one, and cancelled my SS Exclusive order. The SS sculpt is stunning, but I just don't like mixed media.
