I want a jay Anacleto dr doom commission but he wants 1.5k, while awesome just can't pull the trigger. Plus I like published pages, but if the art is amazing I will pick up the commission page.

With prices like these - what happens if you're unhappy with the result of your commission?

Do you just eat the thou on something you're unhappy with?

Sell it and try again?

I have faith in the people I commission to do art for me.. thankfully none have let me down so far.

I'm very new to commissions though, I'm more familiar with buying actual pages. I like maintaining friendships with well-known artists though, as when I do want a commission, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that they can help me out (long commission lists notwithstanding).

Well, the guys charging these prices aren't going to disappoint. When it comes to Adams, Timm, Campbell, Finch....they're consistent enough that you know the art is going to be top notch.
