I'm surprised how good this statue looks. Very well done.

Use a hair dryer hot blower to slowly stretch the legs to fit the peg holes. it works every time I had problems with this issue.
Have patients and give this a try.

A good tip my friend. Have to keep that in mind if I have problems in the future.

One available for $61.89 shipped on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/DC-Collectibl.../dp/B00ZCZWYDY

Edit: The seller has upped the price to $72.40 unfortunately.

I'm really tired of sellers saying that their statues are new/sealed and that they refuse to remove the tape to check the merchandise. So many of these are defective straight from the factory.

I got a Catwoman earlier this week that was new/sealed and should have been sent back to DC instead of being listed on Amazon.

I don't think I've ever seen a buyer as unlucky as you.

What sucks is that my first two Cover Girls, Batgirl and Batwoman, were perfect and got me so excited about this hobby, lol.

Can you imagine if I bought the Sideshow PF Batgirl?

I've been almost the exact opposite in that I had disastrous experiences with the first two Cover Girls I bought online and have had solid-to-great transactions since. I would say the best strategies for keeping these situations to a minimum are:
  • Don't buy still-sealed statues from any seller without a no-hassle return policy, in case of QC issues.
  • Don't buy resin or porcelain statues without original boxes. No amount of packing material will protect fragile pieces like the original molded Styrofoam, which is a low bar considering the breakages that come from those.
  • Ignore listings with photos that are blurry or taken from a distance. Nine times out of ten, it's intentional.
  • Lastly, check feedback. Even if they have 100% positive ratings, make sure it's for other items of similar expense and fragility.
