I think the scale is really close, but the HH pieces are a bit larger.
I also looked at the shield and it does fit the body height, according to most comics. If you check the other shots on the Hard Hero web site, you'll see that the shield also has the proper concave look. Maybe some pics don't give the best look.
I hate most photos of statues and busts anyway. Most pics never give the right impression of the sculpt. I guess that's the difference between 2D and 3D. Cameras just can't match the human eye at all.

Actually, aren't they in a smaller scale? They are physically bigger than the Bowens at about 15 inches.

No, they are a larger scale (head to foot) regardless of the overall height including the base. I have both Silver Surfers and that's how one can tell.

I really like the figure but the shield looks a bit off to me. Maybe it's the pictures but it looks a little too small and flat to me. These HH are really looking to be a solid line of releases.

I am Jack's total sense of agreement
I think this Cap statue is the best of the three so far, and I even think it rivals the Bowen Cap (one of my favorite statues ever), especially when I'm checking out that side angle. It seems to have some Kirby and Steranko elements to it, and the pose really highlights Cap's role as a leader. I could stand it if the shield were a bit larger, but I don't think it hurts this piece at all.
Great work, Hard Hero
