Typically I don't debate anything with Superboy Prime because the way he is written is utterly ridiculous. After he punked Mr. Myx and challenged his very writers my eyes glazed over and I thought it was the worst writing in comic history. Die hard DC fans believe SBP can take on Galactus and Surfer combined and win.

No I was alluding that as powerful as Galactus is he was beaten by Thanos.

Yeah, but there is a distinct difference between Prime and Thanos.... THANOS IS AS SMART AS REED RICHARDS. (and he is a master of magic...)
Prime only has his physical abilities.

this is a cool match up.
Prime is very tenacious and crazy physical powers. Way over-exaggerated strength but that is all he has.
If we are talking strength, prime is much stronger then surfer.
Surfer has all the great points everyone has said but the difference is, prime showed all he can accomplish. Surfer's personality is calm and relaxed. He never wants to hurt anyone and looks to solve things without major damage. A determined pissed off surfer could break down anything without hesitation and be done with it.
prime would stand no chance. He would not even have the chance to fight, he would blink and it would be over.
People with cosmic abilities are in a different league all together.
Superman, hulk or anyone with just physical abilities would die rather quickly.
If it was planet hulk and they had obedience disks where it relied on their physical strength, the fight would be more of an equal match-up, prime more then likely would have the edge over surfer.
