Votes should be limited to FON regulars.

I think doug has a point. The mod from FON shouldn't be voted on by ROT. So I don't see how we can have people who rarely visit fon vote here.
On the other hand, who REALLY wants the responsibility of being a mod and having to take a responsible role for the group section?
This shouldn't be seen as "look, I'm a mod ***giggle giggle***."

Yes it does, so we're trusting you guys to sort this out without falling out over it. This should be fun, so let's keep it that way, but Bats is right, it's a responsibility. Drew points out what will be expected, and what will happen if people shirk the responsibility.

if i was on here more I would throw my hat in the ring also, but with the new job, i don't get to play as much as i used too...
I say Mike and Merl... they have been around from the begining, the often have opposing views so they could help each other if ones judgement is getting clouded...
I don't think Jesse would want it, I could be wrong, and sorry if I am Jeese... just doesn't seem like you would want the hassle of policing us...

Honestly, I think Luis would make a decent mod.. he tries to stay impartial for the most part.
I'd offer myself, but having responsibilities on something I log into to relax on would somewhat tarnish Statue Forums for me.. haha.
Merl's a good choice, also.

I haven't been drawing people away from this site, I was suggesting an alternative place to go for when the site goes down, hell I even invited you to be fair with everyone, and you don't even like me. So yes I can be impartial as well I was the person who started this group and will always be a part of it.

Okay, I'm done. You guys work it out, and someone can put up a poll if it needs a vote.

So why don't you bow out of the race and be my vice mod?
Like I said, it was a sincere question. And for the record, I did appreciate the invite.
