I believe the reason for the Simply Toys price change during checkout is the taxes are removed for international sales. It did the same thing when I purchased.

By itself it does look to long but after seeing the picture with the bird I think the sash actually ties into the phoenix..

I would buy a white Phoenix in a heartbeat. I had the Bowen custom painted into a White.

XM has already stated they don't do repaints.... Although I wouldn't mind if they did say a white variant at the same time as the regular one but limit to say 50 ES. So technically it wouldn't be a repaint if it had the same release date as the original
That would be pretty awesome...
