We are going for screen accurate, the original that Legacy produced is all paint, no real chrome plating was used. We'd like to go for screen accuracy and us the alclad process.
When I can show more pictures of the original I will.

Ahh I see, I have used alclad quite a bit, the effect is incredibly nice! Looking forward to seeing more.

If it helps to keep the cost down I'd say don't bother with the removable CPU chip, I have the Sideshow bust and I've only took the chip out once to have a quick look at it then put the bust back on display, it's a nice detailing touch but not essential.
Of course this is just my personal opinion, maybe others would love a removable chip.

This on is already designed with the chip port and featured in the film, I think we'll keep it. Besides this skull is visually the same, but at least 50% different in design and finish...

Genisys Skull is at least 50% different than the T2 skull, I have them sitting here side by side and as soon as we can share I will start a post with all of the cool details.
The entire skeleton is 100% different, every part was changed and improved.
Similar yes, the same no......
