The comiquette is actually the Model 25 armor. The famous ground pound comes from this cover of the regular series.
It gets confused with the Extremis armor because it’s what Tony wore going into the “Extremis” mini series. So it’s the armor on most of the covers and promo artwork. It’s literally labeled “Extremis” when it’s not Extremis, so of course people think it is.
The actual Extremis armor is only on the cover of the last issue. Easiest way to tell the difference is the smoother face plate and legs with the ovals and slots as opposed to the yellow

I remember this from the calendar and us (mainly me) grilling Igo about it on the forums way back then and he confirmed they couldn’t get it right so they scrapped it.

From what I understand it?s supposed to be 1/4 but it?s severely undersized.

It was 1:4, although it was a smallish 1:4.
The classic comiquette with the flag was a true 1:4, great piece but they need to do another one to go with the latest classic Thor & Cap PF's, a new regular Hulk PF as well. We neeed these guys all updated not just Thor & Cap.

I can't believe this is what they chose to do, a poorer version of what they already released.

Huh? The XM boys us to dabble in Re-Casting in their infancy days?

They were not XM back then, but, yes, they were involved in that sort of thing back in the day and that original ground punch Iron Man was a big culprit.

So about this "Maquette" thing....
Did my own research and found...
"Statue: any sculpture depicting the full body of a figure (as opposed to a mini-bust). Maquette: a small model created as a guide for a larger sculpture or for reference in animation."
So perhaps as a representation of Iron Man's iconic pose this is a Maquette? And of course the reason for a premium.
Otherwise, cool idea which looks great when done in a landing scene, but as a static pose looks a bit awkward.
